At the beginning of the 1920s, the factory expanded its production to include rubber boots, galoshes and sneakers as seen in the photo of these busy gentlemen. Unfortunately, the galoshes department was completely destroyed by fire in 1935. However, the production of footwear continued until the early 1970s.
This photo shows large-scale production of inner tubes. This part of the production was closed down in the early 1970s when Codan Tech started focusing on vulcanized tubes and industrial rubber.
